Can I book for a photoshoot for tomorrow?

Yes, you can subject to the photographer's availability. For the next day's photoshoot, please book a day before by 11:59 pm. Also, please message your photographer to make sure they are available for the photoshoot to avoid unnecessary cancellations.

When and how do I pay?

We require full payment upfront to book the photographer. We accept payments through Stripe, which is a globally recognized and super secure payment network.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes, but subject to the photographer's acceptance. The photographer may not be available during the revised day and time you propose, in which case you can cancel the photoshoot and book with someone else. Please be advised that the cancellation policy will apply here, and your refund will be processed as per the policy. Also, you will be charged a $30 rescheduling fee. 

Who will pay for additional charges associated with admission fees and transportation during the photoshoot?

The client is responsible for any admission fees or transportation fees during the photoshoot (entry to parks, museum, Uber, transportation, etc.).

What if I want to have photos taken in multiple locations?

Most photoshoot packages are for a single location only unless specified otherwise. Also, some photographers offer add-ons for additional locations. It's best to message the photographers and check with them beforehand.

How many photos do I get? Can I order more photos?

The number of photos you get depends on which package you choose. Each package specifies the number of photos included in the price of the package. For additional photos, you have to order add-ons, if the photographer offers it.

What happens after I book?

Once your booking is confirmed, we will share your contact details with your photographer. Next, your photographer will contact you to confirm your details and discuss your photoshoot requirements, location, etc. 

On photoshoot day, your photographer will turn up with their gear for the duration of the booking. You will receive your photos in your private online gallery within the package's delivery timeframe specified by the photographer. After that, you'll be able to accept delivery and download the photos.

Can I cancel my booking?

The short answer is Yes, but the refund is dependent on the cancellation policy specified by the photographer for that package. You can learn more about different cancellation policies here.

When will I get my photos?

It depends on the package deliverability timeframe specified by the photographer. Once the photos are ready, you will receive an email with a link to your Shutterturf online gallery from where you can view and download the photos.

What happens if it's raining on the day of my photoshoot?

If it is an informal shoot, such as a family shoot or a vacation shoot, we recommend that you have the photoshoot in the rain; it will be a great adventure, and it will make for great photos. However, if you decide otherwise, you can reschedule the shoot with the same photographer without penalty.

Can I choose the photos I want?

Your private gallery includes the best shots from your photoshoot, selected and edited by your awesome photographer. Remember that due to the nature of candid photography, not all shots will come out as planned. If you have any specific "must-have" shots in mind, let the photographer know prior to your photoshoot.

Will my photos be edited?

All Shutterturf bookings come included with light editing of images to ensure that your photos look amazing! This involves calibrating the exposure, cropping, and adjusting other parameters. Retouching services such as removing blemishes, removing objects, etc. are not included and may be offered by the photographer for an additional charge. Please refer to the photographer's add-ons or contact the photographer.

How do I contact my photographer?

After you place an order, we share the photographer's contact information with you. You should hear from your photographer in a reasonable timeframe. However, if you have not heard from your photographer, you can call them directly or let us know, and we will put you in touch with them.

How many people can be part of my photoshoot?

It depends on the package and the photography type. For example, for a portrait shoot, it would be only 1 person, whereas, for a family shoot, it would be all the immediate family members. Some photographers offer add-ons for additional members and charge extra for extended family members, such as grandparents. It is best to clarify with the photographer before placing the order.

Will Shutterturf ask for permission to share my photos on your website and/or social media?

We respect your privacy and will never share your photos on our blog or social media without your permission!

Will I receive all of the unedited photos or raw format files?

As per the package terms, the photographer will only be providing you lightly edited images in the High Res JPEG format. No RAW files will be given. The photographer may provide RAW files as an add-on for an additional charge, but please talk to the photographer before your book, so there is no confusion.

I want more hours or more photos than specified ion the package. What do I do?

For any package, most photographers offer add-ons for additional hours, locations, photos, etc.

In what format are the photos delivered?

Your photos will be delivered in high-resolution .jpeg format.

I'm running late! How will this affect my photoshoot?

If you're running late, call or text your photographer as soon as possible. Sometimes your photographer may be able to accommodate, but in cases where they have other commitments, they may not be able to do it. If you arrive at your session late, any time that has passed will be forfeited, and you may shoot for the remaining time. Stay in contact with your photographer, so you are both on the same page.
